East Burke Christian Ministries is an interdenominational organization composed of churches and concerned individuals wanting to help. We are a non-profit agency depending entirely on our member churches, concerned individuals, and foundations for its financial support. We provide people who are in need with food, clothing for an emergency, and financial assistance in the form of power, rent, medicine, and heat.

NEEDS OF THE MINISTRY
Financial
We thank the churches and individuals in our area who make our ministry possible. Your help is always needed and apperciated. Your donations to provide food, power, rent, medicine, heat, and miscellaneous items to those people who are in need. Also, your contributions help us with our operating expenses. We pledge to you that any donations will be used wisely to do the ministry of Christ our Lord.
Food
Any non-perishable staple food item is always welcomed. We need items such as flour, sugar, peanut butter, crackers, canned fruits, vegetables, beans, rice, dried beans and macaroni and cheese.
Clothing
Clothing is a necessity for everyone. Nice clothing always makes people feel better about themselves. We especially need children’s clothing. Please make sure donations are clean and in good condition. We sell donations for a minimal cost. This makes the client feel better about themselves and not receiving charity.
Household Items
Household items are very important to everyone. We are continually in need of glasses, dishes, silverware, bedding and linens, towels, curtains, pots and pans. These items are sold also for a minimal cost and the money is then put back in the account to help with financial needs for the clients.
